浙江大学农业与生物技术学院园林研究所团队


夏宜平教授是研究团队的学术带头人 他的实验室隶属浙江大学农业与生物技术学院园林研究所,目前共16人,其中教1人,讲1人,在站联合博士5人(1名外国博士后),博士研究3人,硕士研究6人。实验室主要从事以球宿根花卉、杜鹃花为主的观赏植物种质资源收集评价、种质创新、重要性状发育生物学、非生物胁迫抗性机理等研究。

实验室观赏植物组培实验观赏植物遗传育种与分子生物学实验观赏植物生理生态实验组成,配备人工培养室,仪器设备基本齐全,能完成观赏植物的常规生理生化和分子生物学实验。近年来,实验室系统地构建了球宿根花卉和杜鹃花的高效再生体系,并以百合、鸢尾、杜鹃花为主逐步建立了遗传转化体系以实现基因的同源功能验证;实验室强调表观形态学研究,结合形态特性、生理生化、分子调控等方面的综合研究,深入系统地解析鳞茎发生发育、宿根芽休眠及杜鹃花应答非生物逆境胁迫响应的生理与分子机制。

Introduction to the Laboratory in the Institute of Landscape Architecture, Zhejiang University

Professor Xia Yiping is the academic leader of the whole research teamhis lab belongs to the Institute of Landscape Architecture, College of Agriculture and Biotechnology, Zhejiang University. The team has 16 persons now, including 1 professor, 1 lecturer, 5 joint-supervision postdoctors (one is foreigner), 3 PhD candidates and 6 postgraduate students. Prof. Xias lab mainly works on germplasm collection and assessment, breeding, developmental biology on important traits, abiotic stress study on bulbous flowers, herbaceous flowers and Azalea.

The lab consists of ornamental plants tissue culture lab, genetic & molecular biology lab and physiological & ecological lab. We also have growth chambers and basic facilities. The above enables routine physiological and biochemical experiments on ornamental plants. In recent years, we have established highly efficient regeneration systems for bulbous flowers, herbaceous flowers and Azalea. We are also establishing transformation systems mainly for lily, Iris and Rhododendron. We emphasized on comprehensive studies on morphology, physiology and biochemistry, molecular regulation. We are working on to elucidate physiological and biological mechanisms underneath bulbs initiation and development, bud dormancy of herbaceous plants and abiotic stress reaction of Azalea.
